ASA Brooklyn Avengers Men's Tennis Team Shutout Second Time in the Season

Brooklyn, NY– The ASA Brooklyn Avengers men's tennis team plays their second home game against Rowan County at Gloucester County at Match Point.

The Avengers won in a shut-out 9-0.  "It was a nice win after coming off a tough loss against Queens College," said men's tennis and women's tennis head coach Sean Floyd.  "I challenged them to do different stuff in the match and it worked out pretty well."

The Avengers won the doubles 3-0 today after performing poorly in the match against Queens College. "I switched the doubles lineup and it seemed to work out today," said Floyd.  "During practice we had a meeting.  I asked them who they were comfortable playing doubles to try to figure out our best chance to win.  We went with it today.  Everything could be better.  It was good but it wasn't perfect."

"We got couple tough matches ahead of us, so it's nice to get some confidence for us going into these next matchups," said Floyd.
